IKEA Store (Taichung)

The main concept of IKEA Taichung store is Curve & Green, and designed to extend the Taichung Wen-Shin Forest Park. The building printed with yellow and blue, is the IKEA visual signage mark, and found the world first example to set up the Green Wall on the surface of the building. We also open the roof garden to rest the neighbors and create a natural dialogue between the building and the environment. Moreover, we enlarge the proportion of IKEA product and use the image to create an interesting public art in the corner. The IKEA Taichung store is also the first IKEA store in Taiwan applied for the Green Building Label. We carry out the concept of environmental protection, and combine with the IKEA spirit “Create a better life!” to work hard!
